Iguanadon
After taking a break in January, saw dust is flying again. I received an email yesterday letting me know that me and my work were accepted to take part in the Cary Spring Daze event coming up on April 29th in Cary, NC (a suburb of Raleigh). My old stomping grounds. It'll be wonderful to go back for a visit and be one of the 150 or so vendors showcasing their crafts. A beautiful day of arts, crafts, music and food. Here's a snapshot of my cutting area I just took... I have 40 animals ready to be cut into puzzle pieces and another 200 scheduled to be cut. I need to be fully stocked for Spring Daze as there are typically 15,000 attendees. If each person buys 2 puzzles... ;-) Lucky2, tomsteve, MTCowpoke22 and 3 others

Dan
Dude, I hope you sell out. I don't know what the table costs at a fair of that size but if one percent of the crowd buys a puzzle you will need and armored car to take you home. Now, stop chatting and get to work. amazingkevin

NC Scroller
Scott I used to live in Cary. Been to this event. This is more then a craft event though crafts are part of it. It is a family event with music and activities for kids and families. The bulk of your 15,000 attendees are not there to shop. SORRY to burst your bubble. With that said make sure you have a large inventory of kid puzzles. I think they will out do your other puzzles.

Yeah, I know it's a mixed bag event and I really don't need the stress of thinking I'll sell hundreds of puzzles. LOL I just received the invitation/application for Lazy Daze in Cary in August... THAT is the craft event of a lifetime and they've expanded it to 2 days recently... I'll apply for it and try it once to see how I like it. It will be a wild one. That event, as you know, draws 50,000 folks and they're all there to shop.
