hawkeye10 Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) I would like something like this one from Steve Good. This one uses 1/2" thick wood and I like that. I found one from Sue Mey that I kinda like. There are a lot of grosses out there but not to many I like. These will be given away as gifts. nrscroller Posted February 11, 2017 Report Posted February 11, 2017 I think Sue Meys has them on her site and I am sure Sheila Landry does also. Fox chapel has a book with 300christian patterns and there are crosses in there nrscroller Tommy Johnson 1 Quote

WayneMahler Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 If you belong to facebook look up Donnie. He has quite a few free patterns. I believe it is Foot of the Cross for his dedicated page. Search and you should find it. I have cut a few of his crosses and they are nice. GrampaJim and amazingkevin 2 Quote

heppnerguy Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 Jim Finn is the inlay man.. He makes more inlays than most people even just cut scroll patterns. Jim posted a detailed inlay tutorial here in the village somewhere.. Ask and Jim of someone can point you to it Dick heppnerguy Jim Finn 1 Quote
Jim Finn Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 (edited) Thanks for the kind words. Yes, eastern red cedar (aromatic) 3/8" thick 15" tall. Inlay is maple using the "double bevel inlay" method. Made quite a few crosses like these. Edited February 26, 2017 by Jim Finn heppnerguy and WayneMahler 2 Quote

Fish Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 Check on amazon for the author Marcus Clemens for books of cross patterns. They are definitely worth the money. He has some awesome patterns in two different books. I bought them both. Quote
