Last Thursday, I requested a pattern and had two quick responses.  The friend chose the pattern by DonR.  I made some modifications such as increased size and eliminated some of the circle lines.  The wood is Maple plywood and backed with Walnut plywood.  I used FD New Spiral #1 on the Minuteman and FD UR #1 for everything else. Thanks Don for a great pattern.  Comments welcome.

Thanks, Tony.  I agree letters and stars are difficult.  Enlarging the pattern by 85% helped.

Doing some work on ancestry, I find out that I am qualified for that society.  Seems my 5th or 6th great grandfather was a private in the Virginia militia.
