amazingkevin Posted February 20, 2017 Report Posted February 20, 2017 Not sure if i'll be able to paint them tomorrow .I'll wait to post them when all painted as i still have another stack to cut and paint also.I need to make stands for them too. My arms are dead tired from not scrolling my pants off for so long.i had a emergency job that drained me today too, here at the warehouse .The landlord knows we have no light in the bathroom for way to long .i bought 2- 4" bulbs and stood on the top step of a house hold stepping stool and changed them .I took way to big a chance doing so,but if i fell I'm sure I'd bounce at least once and if im quick enough and have my timing right i might be able to land on my feet on the first bounce,NOT.Well the bulbs didn't help and i could feel the fixture was cold so the ballast was not working. One other tenant seen me working and offered to pay for the ballast which was more than i had at $14.99.so another trip to the big box store .He offered me his ladder which made me feel secure .this ballast had 2 extra wires and i made 4 trys before i got it right .Instructions baffle me but got her going and everyone's going to be very happy.thank you thank you very much can i get a jelly doughnut ,lol stoney, lawson56, hawkeye10 and 1 other 4 Quote

Gordster Posted February 20, 2017 Report Posted February 20, 2017 You have been busy. These are going to be some nice, when you get them cut and Painted. Three years ago, I fell off the step ladder because I took a risk.went too high. I DID not bounce or land on my feet as I wished to. I dislocated my elbow and broke my wrist. Cast was on for six weeks and then 3 months therapy. I ask myself every day "what the heck were you thinking" 4 months wasted. Quote
