rdatelle Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Denny, that came out beautiful. My niece just got married. Would love to make something like that. Hopefully someone will find the pattern for it. Quote
MrsN Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Can you explain how the rings go together? This is a beautiful piece, you did a fantastic job on it. The cutting is great and the finish is amazing. Quote
Fab4 Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 Thanks for all the nice comments. What happens to a pattern when there is no known designer and the site is down? Hi Denny: To answer your question In a case like this, my way of thinking is as follows: You make a tracing of it and post it for others to use stating that the designer is unknown and would like to give him credit This would make a lot of Villagers happy. I think as long as you give credit (or try to) where it's due it should be o.k. Fab4 Quote

The cutting is great and the finish is amazing. Pictures may explain it better than words. The rings have a slot section with small cuts to fit into the ring holder. Dan also asked for a side view. I hope these pictures help. Fab4 and 125 CSL 2 Quote

heppnerguy Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Looks like an easy pattern to make, to me. especially since you showed how it was constructed Dick heppnerguy Quote
wombatie Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Now that is impressive. I can see why it's popular. Very well done Denny. Marg Quote

djhwoodwerks Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Pictures may explain it better than words. The rings have a slot section with small cuts to fit into the ring holder. Dan also asked for a side view. I hope these pictures help. I made mine a little different and maybe a little simpler. I just slide the ring in the slot. Cut a slot in one ring to get it thru the other. Quote

spirithorse Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 Great work!I ordered that pattern also but, when I found out the rings had to be cut to be intertwined I never cut it. I guess it just sort of spoiled the effect for me. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse Quote
