hawkeye10
I got a new catalog from Wood Craft today and noticed they are carrying Pegas blades. That may not mean they carry them in the store but if you wanted to buy some there I would call first. They are $4.99 a dozen. My Wood Craft is about 30 miles away so I will get mine of the net. Just thought y'all might want to know another place to buy them.

orangeman
I usually use Flying Dutchman blades .... has anyone done a comparison to them.... Pegas is one of the few brands I have not tried I ditched FD blades for Pegas Modified Geometry blades a couple years ago for cutting puzzles from 3/4" hardwoods. Now my FD blades are collecting dust. I give them away every chance I get.
David Lehner
I've always had good luck with the FD two cut... does Pegas have a similar blade?

David Lehner
I doubt I will completely give up on FD blades (i have a bunch of them).... I still fall back to my good old Olson blades for some stuff... I go in spurts ... for a while I was hooked on crown tooth blades .... that was many years ago.. I will have to add another row to my test tube blade storage rack

I buy a gross of the #5 usually. Edited February 24, 2017 by Montserrat
