I got a new catalog from Wood Craft today and noticed they are carrying Pegas blades. That may not mean they carry them in the store but if you wanted to buy some there I would call first. They are $4.99 a dozen. My Wood Craft is about 30 miles away so I will get mine of the net. Just thought y'all might want to know another place to buy them.

I usually use Flying Dutchman blades .... has anyone done a comparison to them.... Pegas is one of the few brands I have not tried

In the upper right hand corner there is a search box.   Just type in Pegas blades and you will find several threads on them.

I ditched FD blades for Pegas Modified Geometry blades a couple years ago for cutting puzzles from 3/4" hardwoods. Now my FD blades are collecting dust. I give them away every chance I get.

I just ordered pegas blades ... from Bearwood ..  I have been ordering supplies from them for a few years. price averaged out to about $3.50 per dozen

Will do a comparison when they arrive

That is the best way to it Dave. I think you will really like them but I don't believe you will quite using FD blades.

I doubt I will completely give up on FD blades (i have a bunch of them).... I still fall back to my good old Olson blades for some stuff...

I go in spurts ... for a while I was hooked on crown tooth blades .... that was many years ago..

I will have to add another row to my test tube blade storage rack
