smitty0312 Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 (edited) I just finished this yard swing......built it from scratch with no plan......our old store bought one was shot...I thought I will build one and hope it last longer......this will hang from a pergola that I plan on building next.......I used my scroll saw to cut all the backrest slats........I used a lot of other tools from my arsenal.......all made from pressure treated wood......will stain a cedar color next year after wood drys out. $95 cost.....still need to purchase the chain/eye bolts to hang it (prolly $20 more).......it measures 7ft 4" wide....my daughter plans on sewing a seat cushion for it also.....I also plan on building a new fire pit........Comments always welcome. Thanks in advance. Edited February 26, 2017 by smitty0312 Rob, Birchbark, jollyred and 5 others 8 Quote
