DAdams Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 What do you all to use to seal and protect yard art projects.I'm using Varathane Diamond Spar Urethane for Outdoors.Brand is Rust-oleum. I was just wondering is there anything better and easier? The spar Urethane i 'm using is water base.Cause i only use Acrylic water base paints. on my yard art projects. Quote
Dan Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I've used spar varnish and urethanes on outdoor signs and haven't had any problems. In fact, I have a house sign that has three coats of spar urethane from six years ago and it still looks great. Just be sure to apply it to all sides and surfaces. Dan Quote
