I have read discussion on here about having motor problems with DeWalt saw, and how it was cost prohibitive to replace a motor.  I was on E-bay this A.M. and ran across this posting.  I do not know if this is a good price or not.  It is another place to look though.

I'm curious what The cost would be if you took Your defective motor to a motor shop and have it rewound?

There is a gentleman on the scroll saw workshop forum that recently got an estimate on that.  He was told around $200 to rewind.  Miles per gallon may vary....
