That's just a pretty tree in general. I really like the bark. I'd be happy to have something like that in my back yard. I bet its a nice shade tree too. Very dramatic grain. Can't decide if I like it or not. I suppose it depends on what you use it on.

Thanks for the great info Blame..............gorgeous trees and love the grain! I've seen those leaves before but can't remember if it was here or not lol. I agree that this would make beautiful furniture. And I bet Clayton is right too........it would be wonderful used in Intarsia.
