Hummingbird plaque

My daughter used some hummingbirds that I made using the intarsia technique and when I saw this pattern and  I  just had to make it for her. I believe this one was from The Berry Basket or something like that. I used a piece of 1/16 wood as my backer board for the center of it with the wall it is hung on to be the show through color for the rim part. It was a 3 hour project for me to cut. I thought I would be able to do it in under 2 hours, but then, I like the cutting part of it so I was happy to be able to spend the extra time in my shop anyway

thank you for all who responded to this thread. It was a perfect match to her hummingbird cupboards. The gap in the frame was because I glued it and then instead of clamping it, I decided just to place a board on it and some weight. My mistake, it obviously shifted just a little, leaving the gap.. My daughter was not bothered by it so I am not going to loose any sleep over that
