Support status has expired?

i was looking through the forum today and something stood out to me there. It appears that many of the "support" status's have expired and it is ready to step up to the plate and send in our yearly support to keep this sight alive. As for myself, and many others, here in the village, It has been our morning wake up place. A lot of us 'feel' the friendship of one another and treasure the time and friendship shared here. Most of us feel like we are all long time friends. One of the last things I would want to see, is to have this sight removed from the scrolling world and the internet in general. So, if the removal of my 'supporter' status means what I believe it does, I for one am going to gladly send in another support offering and do my part to keep it alive. I hope the ones that feel as I do, will check and see if your status has also changed and give a little to support Travis's hard and dedicated work that he does for all of us, every day.

I learned the way Dick did....I looked up one day and noticed that my supporter banner was missing !!!....Whoa, what have i done !?!....I reupped right away, because like Dick, I really enjoy visiting the Village and keeping up with what is going on in the Scrolling world.....Thanks to all of you that make this possible........Scroll On !

Are you seeing the support banner missing, or is there some other indication?  My banner is still up, but I have no idea when it expires.  I assume I would get prompted to renew at the appropriate time, but I don't know how that works here.

  I noticed the support banner had become 4 dots instead. So I looked at others and saw several of them like mine that I knew were previous supporters so I decided to try and figure it out and sure enough my yearly support had indeed expired.. I got right on it and made my donation.. I would not want to loose what we all have here

I'm struggling everyday ,II forgot to renew since august.

I wonder if it's possible to issue a reminder for each of us to renew our support.   Travis are you listening?    I know I would like it.   You know how it is with some of us more mature members. ;)    

 

Yup.  The system already auto-generates an email as a reminder that your supporter badge will expire.  Unfortunately, sometimes those emails get stuck in the spam filter and are easily missed.
