penquin Posted March 18, 2017 Report Posted March 18, 2017 This is not a bragging item but am bit concerned about the warning I am not getting telling me that this site is unsafe to log into as it is not secure. Not sure what this is all about. Is anyone else getting this warning, is it safe to continue to use, what could happen. When I read the warning more it talks about being hacked and having my password used for other stuff. Not real computer knowledgeable so any advise or help would be great. jim penquin Quote
GrampaJim Posted March 18, 2017 Report Posted March 18, 2017 its probably something in your antivirus or other security settings. Quote
Scrappile Posted March 18, 2017 Report Posted March 18, 2017 Are you saying you are "not" getting a warning and you think you should? You've been here a long time, have you added some new security software or something? Quote
ONELUNG Posted March 18, 2017 Report Posted March 18, 2017 no problem hereand np warnings been hre long time Quote
Gordster Posted March 18, 2017 Report Posted March 18, 2017 Hi Jim, every now and then I get that when using tablet. Not on this site but others. You could try going to your settings and do windows update. sometimes that cures all little issues. Quote

DWSUDEKUM Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 No problems here Jim. What are you using for your antivirus and does it have some sort of safe internet check? DW Quote
worbler Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 I think it's only because the site is still using HTTP and not HTTPS, the S being for secure. It's more to do with new browsers and security settings. Quote
JohnRB Posted March 19, 2017 Report Posted March 19, 2017 Most likely to be a setting in your antivirus program Quote
