Kepy
I finally finished this frame that I started as a Christmas gift. Had difficulties with the spiral blades I had and thankfully Mike replaced them so I could finish the cutting. When I got the frame assembled, found out it was a little too large for the mat. Cut some thin strips and covered them with ultrasuede to fill in the gap. It is made from 100 yr old oak barn wood.

NiTay614
Great work! I do not like spiral blades either. I find I have NO CONTROL as to where they cut. It may have something to do with the fact that I am accustome to turning the wood, but whatever the issue, I do a better just with straight cut blades! Dan
Great job on the frame! I love the idea to enhance the picture. The picture is nice, also.
shadylady0447
Very nice looking frame....perfect for the picture. I use both spiral and regular blades. The new spirals from Flying Dutchman are not as agressive as the regular spirals.....give them a try.....you'll be surprised. Sometimes if the project is too big then your only choice is spirals or bag the project.
