trackman
Heard a woman say she makes quilts. So I showed her a picture of " Love To Quilt" by Sue Mey. She said I want one only 14" across. Also ordered a box for her son who is in the Marines to keep papers and stuff in. The box is 10x12x3 made out of walnut with maple inlay. I also made the hinges out of wood. The Quilt one is made out of oak with snapple backer. Not up to Jim Finn's standard but I think it turned out ok. So it pays sometimes to show people pictures and ask. PS forgot, the inlay pattern is from Steve Good. Scrappile
Some mighty fine work right there. I certainly can not find anything lacking in the inlay. Nice quilt plaque also. I have been assigned to make several of those for Christmas gifts for my wife's quilting friends. Jim Finn

trackman
Thanks for the kind words!! The hinges were very easy to do. Just a compound cut. Always fun to do things you haven't done before. Cut a rabbit to hold bottom on. Another first.
