woodduck Posted April 7, 2017 Report Posted April 7, 2017 Thought I would do one with a bit of Aussie flavour. This is a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo found all over Australia in large flocks mainly around waterways in our gum tree forests. It has a very raucous call & is a very good alarm clock if camping out by the rivers.I made the pattern off a picture I had. Cheers Peter New Guy, Lucky2, crupiea and 1 other 4 Quote
Gordster Posted April 7, 2017 Report Posted April 7, 2017 Very nicely done Peter..I love the shape you used. Lot better than oval and square.Funny, last night on facebook someone had a video on with a cockatoo dancing to someone playing a guitar...he put on quite a show. This bird was all white no yellow cap or tail. woodduck 1 Quote

wombatie Posted April 8, 2017 Report Posted April 8, 2017 Terrific Peter, great pattern and great cutting. Very well done. We had some in the tree next to our house yesterday, What a Noise they were making. Saw some black ones a while ago but they were just passing through. Marg woodduck 1 Quote
