Denny Knappen
Maybe you remember my "Wedding Rings" with initials and year. Someone came into to store with a special request. They wanted a wedding gift, but the couple likes hockey. This is what I made. The pattern is by Steve Good, but rather than the team names, I added initials and year. The wood is 1/2" Hard Maple and 3/4" Poplar for the base. I used FD UR #1, #3, and #5 blades. The finish is spray Shellac. Comments welcome. lawson56, MTCowpoke22, jollyred and 1 other

Gonzo
I like both this and the rooster. I also am a big fan of shellac. I think it gives your pieces a nice luster without making it look plasticky. If that's a word. (Big smile)
