amazingkevin
First off i' working on the 10& 10 Mr and Mrs for a wedding .i did each base 10 -6"x 4 Mr's and 10-8"x4" Mrs by 3/4'' thick with a routed edge. and then I did Hawkeye 10's special cross puzzle.I messed up on locking tab so i glued the whole thing together and will try again tomorrow and put on the double tiered base with routed edges My routed bit burned many places on the base. I tryed different blades to find one that would let the cross stand up straight when all together, The number #3 scroll reverse blade seem to do the trick. And then i found time to do TDPainters love plaques,His technique was very different and seemed ahead of it's time . and then i started to finish some pharmacy name stands i started a while ago.Sure feels good to feel good again.Poor scroll saw,lol and last but not least i hand sanded Nosey the dragon with 220 grit so maybe this will be the end of the bad finishes. amazingkevin
Do you ever sleep? Stevan,I'm the only one i know of that sleeps at the saw with it running and with a project in the saw. Since i got a foot pedal when i fall asleep cutting My foot will rest on the foot pedal and when in a deep my foot will press down an start the scroll saw up, Immediately i wake up startled and look post haste at the project to see if i ruined it .Never happened yet but close! RangerJay
I am continually amazed by what you squeeze out of a day - but falling asleep at a running scrollsaw might be a bit of a tiny hint that your body is telling you your day is past done!! Great looking work. Jay

rjR
Now what did you do after mid-morning break? Nice accomplishments. I am most certainly a lot lazier than you. That dragon looked familiar, I have some boxed up. When I let them watch my work they kept wanting to torch things. If it were not for coffee my work ethic would be even less. I think that at least 3/4 of the coffee I drink has sawdust in it.

Jay You know ,I've thought about what your saying, and i came up with you can't do it all 6" under the ground. And yes sleeping at the saw is telling me to slow down but I'm at peace with the world scrolling and i love to give little happiness to those that get my projects ,Basically names. Makes my day to go in the store and get smiles from those that got their names from me!
