I'm guilty of doing this also...

Just thinking out loud here, but can we give Travis a bit of breathing room on this update

Yes, there are a few glitches, it's a normal process when updating, upgrading, making changes

Let's give Travis time to work some of these out of the system

You may want to jot down what your problem is and in a few days if it's still a problem

then kindly report it

In the meantime, let's enjoy what we have, grab a coffee or beverage of choice and relax

It will get better - definitely on the right track

Yesterday I noticed the sight was running quite slow. I thought it was the update's fault. I was looking while I was at work, so I didn't mind the extra time. this is an awesome sight. I am not going to complain, especially since I get paid top check it out.  Today it seems to be running fine. What more could I ask for?

A lot of the background processes finished up late last night/early morning, so I think the website should be loading pretty well.  Now it's about putting things where they're supposed to be and making it pretty again.  It's a struggle...they really changed how the software works.  I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to get it to work the way we want it.

If you're having trouble, there might be old website cache in your web browser that is conflicting with the new software.  You can check out this post on how to clear that out.

I like the upgrade but the white background is a little too bright for me, can you tone it down a bit. What does everyone think or is just me.

maybe adjust the contrast and brightness on your monitor

I bought a new car about a year and a half ago - I'm positive that I still don't know where/what all the new features and things are!   - Just need to be patient and give Travis the time to get things organized and figured out.  Perhaps we could start a new thread somewhere where we point out new tools/features or how to do things.  People can share new things they found and those who need help figuring out something could ask in the same thread.

Thanks Fab4, I did adjust the brightness and contrast on my monitor and it is much better.

Ha!  It's like an Easter Egg hunt.  That would be neat, since I don't know where all the bells and whistles are yet.

Just be forewarned, some features that are here today might be gone tomorrow.  I've already found a couple features that conflict with others.

I'll work on the theme and colors after I get some of the functionality working again.  I find some parts hard to read since it's hard to see where one post starts and ends.  I'll add it to the list.
