Iggy's Upcoming Event

My local town hosts a Street Arts Festival each year and this year there will be 50 vendors in attendance this Saturday... I have some very stiff competition for getting the visitors money.  Some great looking items.  Scroll down to see the various artists.

Hopefully this link will work even if you aren't a Facebook user...

I better lower my expectations of how many puzzles I'll sell...  :-)

Hi Scott,from looking at photos,you seem to be only scroller.

If they bring their kids,you will do great.lots of crafts there for women,so that

could be big competition. I predict great day for you.

You mention a good point, a lot of activities for kids at the event, so I'm fully stocked with kids dinosaurs.

Hey RJ, I wrote a post about it.  The rain held off, but the threat of rain and cloudy conditions reduced the crowd.  Other vendors around me said they only did 1/2 of what they normally do at that event.  I sold 22 pieces, half what I had expected/hoped.  I'll try it again next year and hope for better weather.  Thanks for asking.

I'm thinking you will do fine from what I saw being offered.  Fancy artsy stuff is fun to look at, but how many homes will it fit in decor wise.  The puzzles will sell good.  I can feel it.

I don't do facebook, all I see is a picture of a mermaid with a date and a link that asks me to sign up or do some security check.

It doesn't matter how many or how good the other vendors are, you're only competing against the ones that sell scrollsawn dinosaur puzzles.

But that page does say 20-30 degrees and rain. That might put a slight damper on things.

Looks like your going to take home the bacon hands down.Too much expensive looking things .Keep us informed .I speculate a sell out for you!

Competion is always a good thing. If you have the personality and love people you'll in turn be a success. From your quality of work and enthusiasm you'll do great at the show. All the best Scott.

That weather forecast must have been for Alaska.  Here in Carolina Beach, NC the weather is going to be 82 and sunny.  :-)
