bgmiller Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 Second project cut, just need to stain it. Originally it said support your local farmer underneath , but I screwed up the letters so I just cut them off. Need to practice cutting letters. Dave Monk, Lucky2, Dan and 3 others 6 Quote
dgman Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 That's what's called a design change. Nice work! Quote

wombatie Posted May 21, 2017 Report Posted May 21, 2017 Most of us have problems with lettering but once you know your saw and the blades you use you will find them easier, oh and a LOT of practice. I have never seen that pattern before, you did a great job on it. Marg Quote

Scrappile Posted May 21, 2017 Report Posted May 21, 2017 Turned out nice and you didn't just cut off the lettering, you took "artistic liberty" with the design. Yep, letters are much harder than one would think. I didn't do any until I was about 2 years into scrolling. I was surprised how quickly they humbled me. Quote

Well, now I feel better about my attempts at Lettering Paul. I still run scared from it a year into my starting this hobby. So many great things with wording that I want to do but then . . . . well - I'll keep trying when I don't run away scared! Nice work on this project Brady even without the words! Thanks for sharing your project. Edited May 21, 2017 by meflick Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted May 21, 2017 Report Posted May 21, 2017 Nicely done project. For most of us a pattern is just a guide and can be modified to fit whatever project. That came out great. Lettering takes practice. Keep up the great work. DW Quote
