Travis
I was thinking of all of the scroll saw projects I would like to tackle someday. But either due to time constraints or technical ability, I probably won't get to them for awhile. So I was wondering, what is your ultimate project you'd like to someday do? What is your Holy Grail project? My holy grail project is a wooden gear clock.

Dan
Although I've done very few intarsia projects, I have a vision of a scene with hidden images. It would be about 3 feet by 5 feet. I don't know if I'll ever get to it. Dan
Russ-C-
It would be a gear clock. You would need alot of time and patients for one of them and I haven't built up the nerve to try one yet..
cdrover
My Holy Grail would be an intarsia piece of "The Last Supper" about 18X 30 inches in size . Using exotic woods and with lots of patience. I haven't got the guts to start a project like that yet. As we say around here, "it would be a winter works project". LOL...your Holy Grail project would literally HAVE the Holy Grail in it! That would be a really cool project to tackle, that's for sure! Chief
":jq45v8fw]It would be a gear clock. I have all the straight cut pieces cut out already on the table saw. The gears are what I am really worried about. I will probably have to cut them at least twice. It is slow going maybe I will be done by Christmas, it will make a great gift for ME.

greasemonkeyredneck
The Dome Clock from Wildwood Designs. I want to make the two back to back that looks like the complete building with the additional Dome clock stand, which would put the clock at nearly six feet tall. NiTay614
Me, I kind of do what I do, when I feel like doing it. I am still trying to tackle creating patterns. I have several ideas, but lack the no how. I am learning.
hayu
The two project ok 3 come to think of it. Is anything marquetry or intarsia, a table with my inlayed pieces and sharpening a pencil perfectly on my scroll saw. (I know its crazy but I keep trying)
scrollgirl
My ultimate project has "lived in my head" for over 2 years now. I one day hope to make it a reality. I want to make a fireplace screen with five sectioned panels. The middle panel would be a little wider than the four side panels. On the side panels would be reflections of peacocks, viewed from the back with their tails in full view. The middle panel would be a wall or garden scene. I have toyed with the idea of adding some segmented overlay pieces to this, but part of me wants to just keep them fretwork. I have always loved Louis Comfort Tiffany designs and that era and this design was something I would certainly say was inspired by him and his beautiful stained glass peacocks. Maybe one day I will design my 'holy grail'!
cherie
I would say a clock of some sorts also. Especially any from Wildwood Designs. I just hope I have the patients to do it when the time comes.
