First Go At A Puzzle

Had my first go at a puzzle after seeing Paul and Scott doing some thought I would give it a go so purchased some patterns from Iggy (Scott) thanks for the tips on ordering paul and the tips from Iggy on what is needed. I gave this a go found the lines a task lol but for a first attempt not too shabby I think apart from the drill hole by the bloody ear that I have learn`t my lesson from to put me glasses on when I change the drill bit, Open to comments,tips etc as always, I used a #3 Olsen (more than one lol) gotta get used to a set blade for these I think the veining was the one that caught me the most what do most of you use I shall try that on the next one I used a #3/0 for the lines and I felt it struggled or could of been me taking ages to do them lol or do you do the lines with a spiral I just thought lol

Very nice Frank.  Yep, you started with one that has a lot of feature lines (cuts).  Ooops, and I sent you the sitting Pug instead of the standing one... check your email, I just sent you the one you asked for.  Sorry for the error.

I use #3 Olson Mach Speed blade for everything.

Keep sharing as you cut them, I enjoy seeing them!

Thanks Iggy for the pattern and also the blade tip I shall order some if i can find them in uk if not I will use Teddybear again

Nice cutting, Frank.  I did mine in 1/2" material.  tried several blades I would normally use and ended up doing most with a #3 Pegas Modified Geometry.  Use same blade for the veining.

Thanks Paul I did think about the Pegas modified blade now you have said you used them I will try them they are easy to get hold of here olsen are more tricky

Yea Mel that is me all over always pick the toughest first then the rest should be easy in theory lol
