JOE_M
The cutting looks real good. Glad the finish worked out for you. I myself only use minwax poly when I hate the recipient and want to give him or her a piece of sludge-covered wood that will remain tacky for another three years, or until it is completely covered in cat hair - whichever comes first. I've just had nothing but bad luck with it. Mark SW

Phantom Scroller
Looks great on that, high gloss. I've just ordered some liquid poly and waiting for it to turn up all the way from the good old USA. And guess what it's MINWAX so I hope to use it on some lathe projects. Any tips Kev. Something like Shellawax, Crystal Coat or a home-made mix of equal parts shellac, BLO and denatured alcohol? You can apply multiple coats quickly and the shine is almost instant. Yep I use it all the time on pens and hard wax and superglue just want to see what all the fuss is about and try it out, thanks for the ideas and know doubt others will try these methods.
