Nice cutting you got there.

I hope and pray that's everything it OK with you.

as usual the hospital says nothings wrong .they gave me 2 aspirin and sent me home and i'm back with a different problem. At the price they charge i could have stayed home and done more than they did for close to $1000,Thanks Terry!

The cutting looks real good. Glad the finish worked out for you. I myself only use minwax poly when I hate the recipient and want to give him or her a piece of sludge-covered wood that will remain tacky for another three years, or until it is completely covered in cat hair - whichever comes first. I've just had nothing but bad luck with it.

Looks great on that, high gloss. I've just ordered some liquid poly and waiting for it to turn up all the way from the good old USA. And guess what it's MINWAX so I hope to use it on some lathe projects. Any tips Kev.  Roly

Have you tried a friction polish? Something like Shellawax, Crystal Coat or a home-made mix of equal parts shellac, BLO and denatured alcohol? You can apply multiple coats quickly and the shine is almost instant.

Wow Kevin that looks some nice....sorry to hear of hospital trip.

Take care and be well

Oh well I'll keep coming back to ER til;l i get the results i want .They had to sedate me and give me contrast to go thru the mri and tape my head down so i don't twitch and jerk uncontrollably as i get one chance to go thru because it's hard on my already 40% functioning kidneys .I worked out great they found what they needed to see. Thanks Gordie,
