Last week we watched an episode of 'Have Gun - Will Travel' in which Quanah Parker was a character.  I knew he wasn't fictional, so I looked him up.  I just had to do this portrait.  The pattern is by Gary Browning and found in his book, "Wild West Scroll Saw Portraits".  I enlarged the pattern by 65% to fit an 11" x 14" frame.  I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood and backed with a black mat board.  In framing, I used Acrylite, a framing quality plastic.  The blades used were FD New Spiral #1 and there are two coats of spray Shellac.  Comments welcome.

Nice cutting. It is a great example of a wooden portrait. Native Americans are so colorful. Every time I look at one of these old Indian portraits, I feel sad that their culture was stripped from them

Living here in TN where the 'Trail of Tears' began, the term 'stripped from them' is very appropriate.
