Popular Post Laura Posted May 30, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted May 30, 2017 Just finished my new project! It was a challenge, I haven't made anything this big before. I'm kind of a newbie, and I'd definitely recommend this project to anyone. (even a newbie can tackle this.) JOE_M, crupiea, vykus and 9 others 12 Quote

spirithorse Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 Great work, Laura, You really did a fine job on the project. Unfortunately, you failed to mention who the designer is if any other newbies should care to challenge themselves. Any details on how long the project took you to complete? Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse Quote
wombatie Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 You did a fabulous job Laura. I have been scrolling for about 18 years and I have never cut clock like that so I take my hate off to you. Well done. Marg Quote

DWSUDEKUM Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 That came out great, I would not have a place to put that but it would be fun to cut. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW Quote
Scrolling Steve Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 Very nice job, Laura !....A lot of time and patience on display there ! Quote
Rolf Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 Yes you did an excellent job on this clock. Along with the designers name what woods did you use. The contrasts really make this pop. Quote
JOE_M Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 That's quite an accomplishment. If you could please - Whose design is it, how tall, what type of clockworks? And how long did it take you? Quote
meflick Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 Very nice work and something I'm not sure I'm willing to take on just yet. Thanks for sharing. Quote
merlin Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 L overly Laura........as the saying goes....take one hole at a time, never look at the whole picture, if you do the project seems to take forever.............. Quote
newfie Posted June 2, 2017 Report Posted June 2, 2017 That's a beautiful piece of work you did a great job with it thanks for sharing Quote
fastfreddy Posted June 5, 2017 Report Posted June 5, 2017 That sure is challenging work. its a great piece of art work. Lots of hours went into that project. Thanks for sharing. Quote
Scrappile Posted June 5, 2017 Report Posted June 5, 2017 You certainly did a great job on that piece. I also would like to know where the pattern came from. I do know that doing something like this can be a challenge. Not only is there intricate scroll work involved, but you have pieces that have to fit together. Sometimes that can be more of a challenge than the scroll work. Quote
tuner Posted June 5, 2017 Report Posted June 5, 2017 And you call yourself a newbie ? Maybe in time spent not in talent. Great job Quote
