Woodmaster1
I saw theses comfort knobs on YouTube and they looked good. They are an awesome addition to my scroll saw. They are easy to adapt to the original knobs, less than ten minutes and we were good to go. lawson56 and Scrolling Steve
Lucky2
Are these the ones that Steve Good was talking about, if not, they're exactly the same? Len

The knobs look nice but I am afraid I would tighten them to much.. Tightening the clamps to much is the prime reason the clamps have to be replaced. I am the worlds worst at getting things to tight. jerry1939
I am a top feeder and made one for the bottom clamp. It is a free pattern on Steve Good's site. As for over tightening, you certainly could. It is also true that you could drive your car into a tree using the same logic. I sand both sides of each end of a new blade before installing. Scrappile
Very similar to the know I have on my Hegner. I really like it, may think about one of these for my Seyco. I do not sand the ends of my blades, but I do wipe the ends with Alcohol before putting them on my saw. It is surprising to me how dirty and oily some are. You wouldn't notice unless you clean them. ike
I sand my blades and I use a lever to tighten the bottom screw. The way the bottom set screw sets I don't have the strength in my fingers( 78 years of abuse) as stated it is hard on the bottom blade holder I have to change it every couple of years. I use the long slender tighteners on his web page. if I didn't use these I would have slippage and use a lot more blades, It is worth the trade off. Are you telling us that you keep a bottle of Jack Daniels in your shop and also use some of it to clean your blades? Inquiring minds want to know.
