Yesterday I made this toy car designed by Steve Good.  Made from an off cut of 4x2 and some scraps.  Finished with a coat of shellac then a coat of mineral oil and beeswax.  I haven't found a source of wooden wheels in New Zealand so had to turn my own,

Fun to make and pretty simple.

Nice job Rob...........I turn my own wheels all so and I turn about 3 grooves with the (parting tool that I made from a power hacksaw blade) for the treads............

That's a good idea Merlin.

Thanks.

Rob
