As for the "never having the right size bit in the rotary tool" problem, a mini drill will just turn that into a "never having the right size bit in the mini drill" problem. Yep, this is my solution and it works great. I just checked, and the Lowes in Fort Smith, AR has them in stock on Aisle 63 , Bay 3. TheWoodArtist Posted June 19, 2017 Report Share Posted June 19, 2017 (edited) I just checked home depot don't have it but Lowes does and being that it is on the aisle and bay you mentioned I am thinking you meant Lowes which is awesome considering I have a pro account there. Thanks for the info on it. I have the plunge router and press station and 4 dremels use the press and have the shaft and use it more than anything for drilling and fine sanding along with engraving and carving so this will work great on one of them that isn't attached to anything else unless it will attach to the shaft but don't know if it will and if it does wonder if it will cause it to be end heavy. redwine Posted June 19, 2017 Report Share Posted June 19, 2017 The chuck that Dremel has is available at Lowe's and at our Walmart is a great addition to your drilling of small entry holes. I have had the 3 jaws seize up once in awhile but just keep them clean and squirt a little WD40 and wipe off the excess and that usually solves the problem. Don't know if that chuck is still available from Mike's Workshop but forget about obtaining one. Once you find the right place for the drill bit you will be using it works fine, but than you change to another bit and you go through the process again aligning the jaws for a wobble free turn.
