My Mint Green Dewalt 788 scroll saw

This is the Dewalt scroll saw I have, the man that owned it before me decided to paint it this color to match the rest of his wood working Equipment that he had in his wood shop. I would have redone the paint job on it , if it hadn't not been professionally done. But the color doesn't make the saw cut any different it just looks different from the Bright Yellow Dewalt scroll saws.And this model is a Type 1 Not a type 2 Dewalt scroll saw Which I was very please to know Before I won it off a eBay auction.

Wow. That's actually a pretty good paint job. He must of had a pro do it. LOL. Could you imagine him going into a body shop with a scroll saw wanting it to be painted? I wonder what they thought. I would have had a nice flame job like they have on hot rods. LOL. Oh well. I don't mind the green at all. As long as it cuts, that's all that matters.

Great saw Deb! Yep, just like in cars, looks don't make it run lolol. I actually prefer this green over the (ewww) yellow lol. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Deb, that's almost the color of my Excalibur saw. Personally, I'm not at all fond of green, but I have to agree with Travis on this one. Who cares if it looks sexy, just as long as it cuts.

 

..., and believe me, the new Excalibur EX-21's sure ain't sexy looking.
