Hi to all! I ' m Simone from Italy. It's a long time i like to start working with a wooden scrollsaw but it's too expensive for me to buy a new one. I just see an advise about one used scroll saw (Mariottini Mod 1000). It'd be my first scroll saw. Does anyone of you know this machine? I need scroll saw simple to use.

Welcome to our village. Maybe someone will be able to help you, I have never heard of that saw, But if it works, the price is right,  I would take a chance. good luck and let us know how it works out.

From the looks of it, that saw is very industrial.  Built in dust collection, large square table and built in foot rests make me believe this was built for production level cutting--six to eight hours a day.

Depending on how the blades attach and tension, this could be a good saw.

Wow, that looks like a real beast.  I've never heard of that manufacturer, so I googled the name and found this website;

http://www.traforatricimariottini.it/en/scroll-saw-machine/

I agree with Jim that this looks like an industrial grade saw.  I didn't find any specific info on the website as to operation details, but it looks like it would last several lifetimes of the average scrollsawer.  There were a couple videos embedded on the site.  I didn't watch them, but they may be helpful.

Welcome to the village, like the others - I have no idea on the saw though.  Just wanted to welcome you and wish you luck on finding a saw for your budget and needs.  Look forward to your participation here.

Welcome to The Village. Let us know if  you do purchase that machine and how you like it, should you do that. I would want to check and see if there are a lot variety of blades that can be had for this machine. If you are going to be scrolling, you will need to have a pretty big variety of blades. If a variety of blades is not available I would not buy it, no matter how good of a deal it is. I would want it to have the ability of using 5 inch, pin-less blades. Then you can get a very large assortment  and I believe you probably will enjoy this machine for all of your life time.   Good luck, Oh yes. be sure and  explore all the things available to you for free here.

I Know diddely on the saw. It looks like a monster but I have the same magnifier lite and I love it. Looks like it may have been modified to mount to the unit. Mine still has the articulating arm attached.
