Iguanadon
As more and more of you decide to give the puzzles a try, I figure I'll let you know how my sales are going... Just got home from this weeks farmers market and sold 29 puzzles today, slightly above average. A very broad range of animals purchased today by all of the wonderful folks roaming around the market. Make them, and they will come... And seriously, thanks to those of you who have purchased patterns. It makes me happy that Harvey's patterns are getting a sort of revival right now and are of interest to many of you. Harvey says thanks as well. Thanks for keeping us up to date on how its going but shhhhh - now my husband wants to know when I'm going to sell some! Thanks for sharing Hi Newfie, I use poplar because I like the color variations in the wood, it adds an added "dimension". I sell them all for $25 each. I thought about charging a little more for some of the more complex ones, but then there are also some that are simpler, so in the end it all evens out. I do this same type of pricing for my sales at our local farmers market. Keeps it simple and it lets you know which items are the most popular regardless of price.
