Mimi
I finished it today. The person I made it for is very happy and thinks it looks great. It was easier to cut than I thought. Hope everyone is having a great day. Mimi crupiea, Dave Monk, JOE_M and 6 others

Mimi
Placed the diamond tred between 2 pieces of plywood glued the pattern to th wood. Got a cobalt drill bit to drill the holes. Cut it with flying Dutchman iron man metal cutting blades and went slow and steady. Dave Monk and wombatie

Mimi
Thank you everyone for the great compliments. And yes Munzieb I think I do have a new material to work with. I was going to try just flat metal next time and see how that looks. My only problem now is figuring out what to attach it to the backer with. I might see how gorilla glue works. Mimi
I think it is about 1/8 thickness but be careful the edges are sharp.
