ScollSaw Slasher
No I don't. But it can lead to some beautiful works of art if you keep pursuing it. Just adds to my list of styles of scroll sawing I'd like to try. I noticed though that many that are out there are laser cut and they are proud to state it. Oh well! The link I provided above is to a guy in America that sells Volker Arnold patterns. Not sure if one place or the other is cheaper, the ones I purchased were sent via email, so no postage. Maybe the only difference in the exchange rate of the monies. Docupton

jbrowning
These look so tempting to try. Is there a beginners pattern that might get me started and not so frustrated?

jbrowning
What type of wood would you use to make these? They look like very thin sheets of something.
Scrappile
I use 1/8" Baltic Birch.
jbrowning
With it being that thin, do you stack them?
Scrappile
You certainly can. In the one I posted about the front and back arches were stack cut. Could have stack cut more if I had wanted more than one complete unit. Edited July 12, 2017 by Scrappile

Rolf
I never do less than 3 when I use 1/8 BB (3mm) Srappile I don't see the link to The US rep for Volker Arnold. Years ago it was Tom Sevy I think now it is his son in law. It is easier to go to him unless you can read German. I go directly to Volker, he has a shop in Dresden Germany right next to where my Mom grew up. Small world it is.
