Denny Knappen
I finished this project this weekend. The pattern is by Sue Mey and found in CWWC August 2013. I wanted to make this project for some time, but didn't have the right wood. I used 1 1/4" Maple discarded by the local La-Z-Boy chair manufacturer. The trim is 1/8" Walnut and the backing is Red Oak plywood. I used FD Polar #9 blades and finished with spray Shellac. Ideal for displaying small items. Any ideas? Comments welcome. jollyred, Iguanadon, Karl S and 5 others

Thimbles would work great. The selves are between 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" high. Rob

wombatie
How about you make some miniatures, they would look good on there. Maybe an air plant in a tiny pot. Oh boy could I fill it. Any way Denny It looks great and I love the wood that you chose. Marg

rdatelle
That came out great Denny. You used a #9 blade on that to. I would of never thought of using a #9 on that. I guess I'll have to try some of mine on thicker wood. There's a lot of things you could put on there. Small sea shells, tiny miniature plants and little fairies they sell for fairly gardens.
