tonylumps
Were they a good saw in it's day There is one that is very clean with little use for sale locally .They are asking 375.00 for it .
Lucky2
They were an excellent saw in their day, but depending on how old it is parts may not be available. Do a good search on the model of saw that it is, and then you'll know if the parts can be bought to fix any problems that might arise. Ron Johnson
I have the Ex 30 which I purchased new in 2000. Still running like new and have never had an issue. If it's clean with little use I highly suggest you run (DON'T WALK) and purchase before it's gone. You'll be glad you did. $375.00 is a steal. One of the best saws ever made. Don't worry about parts if you know of a good machine shop. Edited July 25, 2017 by Ron Johnson
tuner
2 months ago I got a 19 inch for 125. off Craig. I would say it is very well made, more important to me while there may be no parts around there are machine shops and this saw is repairable . I would put it up against my old RBI 220 vs. the motor can be changed for vs if you want, don't know about 30 inch but my top arm does not move making bottom feeding a little pain, other wise I cleaned it up added wrench less clamps and it's smooth & quiet. Sure your taking a chance but you do that every morning getting out of bed Just my cents
