Blaughn
Making a Swedish Welcome (Valkommen) plaque for my daughter-in-law's birthday. Couldn't find a pattern so I am working out my own. These are the test cuts on the Dala horse and the Rosemaling trim. jollyred, wombatie, Scrolling Steve and 1 other

Just when you think you are making progress with your cutting skills, you try something like this. Happily this plaque when finished will be viewed from a distance. The Swedish Dala horse is really a spartan version. Here is what the fully fleshed out version looks like: The Norwegian Rosemaling comes from Vectorstock.com page 25355. I would guess that a great many of the denizens of the Village have never seen the Dala horse. You have to live in a Scandinavian-influenced culture to fully appreciate it (let alone pay the dollars to buy one!).
