Just finished this.  Used bits & pieces of a pattern for a cathedral clock I made many moons ago.  It will be given to a couple that do volunteer work at our Church.

Red oak with crystal clear spray finish.  Our Lowes oak is junk.  One Menards 8 miles away is fair/better.  Another Menards 19 miles away is where I usually end up.  Have learned to buy 1/4 X 2 (measures 1/2 X 1 1/2) and glue them together.  That normally clamps and stays flat.  The sides were stacked and taped together just fine.
