edward Posted July 27, 2017 Report Posted July 27, 2017 Just looking for an idea on how to hang pictures on pegboard, I know regular hooks dont work on saw tooth hangers, any ideas on hangers, just thinking a head for the next shows, just tossing the idea around, not sure if I will do it . edward Quote
dgman Posted July 27, 2017 Report Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) Hey Edward. I don't use saw tooth hangers. On frames I route a keyhole slot on the top frame member. And on smaller items I use triangle loop hangers. They both hang on straight peg board hooks. Edited July 28, 2017 by dgman Quote
bandaideman Posted July 27, 2017 Report Posted July 27, 2017 I made a peg board stand last show and use saw tooth hangers. I used jumbo paper clips. unbent to fit one end into hanger and the other rhrough the peg board. It worked that day and held but was not toatally satisfied I will think on it more. I had mainly plaques and signes. Did display nice thou. Quote
Dave Monk Posted July 28, 2017 Report Posted July 28, 2017 I use saw tooth hangers on my projects and and hang them with curtain hooks. I'm not using pegboard though. Quote
jollyred Posted July 28, 2017 Report Posted July 28, 2017 Bend a piece of wire into an "S" shape. One leg of the S into the hole in the pegboard, the other end into the saw tooth hanger. 18 gage steel wire should hold most items,if not too heavy. If really heavy, might try 12 gage wire. Quote

Rolf Posted July 28, 2017 Report Posted July 28, 2017 I make my own hooks from coat hangers or I put a loop of wire through the sawtooth and hang it from that. Quote
