Sitting Mermaid finished today... along with the Swimming Mermaid I showed a few days ago.  Both new designs by Harvey Byler.  Patterns available as all are of his patterns.

Ordered both patterns last night, have cut sitting mermaid and have the swimming one laid out to cut next.  Will post once Jan has them painted.

Another great puzzle and cutting, now you say that Harvey designs these, what does he use to design them? I thought someone said that Harvey was Amish, just courious, thx RJ

Correct, he is Amish... he uses his mind, a pencil and a piece of paper.  The guy is very talented.

He does ask for a general idea of what you want.  When I asked for a mermaid I sent him an outline of one I found online.  The swimming one was mine, another of his customers asked for the sitting one.

I really like the sitting one it is my favorite out of the two.  Great work Scott.  We live near the water but we do not have a craft market, I suggested it a few times to to Westernport Chamber of Commerce but they have never run with it.  Pity.
