Think I got this pattern here but couldn't find it in the library so apologies for not giving the designer credit.  This was cut from an old rimu drawer side and finished with tung oil and beeswax.   3mm matt black MDF backer.  Thanks for looking.

Nice cutting on the words. They can be a challenge sometimes  you also did a really nice job with finishing it

Thanks Marg.  Pretty well everything I cut comes from the recycling centre and luckily I usually find some rimu.  I did find some oak once but usually it is just rimu, aka Rob Is Mostly Using....

Actually I remember I did find some mahogany too which I must get around to using at some point.
