Nicely done world there Kevin.  As for the others create each word as a separate vector layer then arrange and size to your content then just merge the layers when you are satisfied you like it.

Well i thought of that but it needs to fit in a certain space .I can't pattern and cut the wood and not have it fit.I'm not all that smart to get it right the first time.

Fantastic job Kevin!:thumbs:I have met a few of those in my time.I agree with DW.I have had to do that on several occasions.:)

If i fold the pattern in half and go from there sounds good on paper. One thing I'm short of is time so i need to get it right the first time.

Kevin, before I attempt to help.  Can you answer a couple of questions - first, do you really mean 10.5 inches high and 11 FEET long for your pattern? Second, what font are you wanting to use to create the pattern? Do you want each word capitalized?  Do you want the word "and" or do you want the and symbol like this "&"?  I have a program that I might could try to create this in for you but before I do give it a try, it would be beneficial to have that information on the front end. ;)

Hi Melanie,Somehow i forgot how to enlarge things. All the letters are capitals and the & can be the word and,She wanted acme letters but there are so many similar ones take your pick. The words go on a column side ways or horizontal to fit in a space 11' long and each letter is 10.5" tall with spaces at the beginning and end and in between the words.I've wasted so much ink and paper and time trying i gave up.I'm not getting much for it but it's more than i have ! A labor of love.

Kevin,

I am still at a loss to fully understand your problem.

Are the words to go on a vertical column ??  or across a horizontal row ??

Are you cutting the 23 letters from 23 pieces of A4 (or whatever the American equivalent is) of wood ?

Can they not be cut as usual, ie across as a row and then turned sideways ?

I am getting confused myself now

Is this being cut from 1 piece of wood ??

Kevin I had a request for a monogram so large that I could not print it off, I ended up hand writing it and then tracing the pencil lines once safistfied with a sharpie....sounds to me that may be the way should go. Take a smaller sample and then tape pieces of paper together and start to draw the font
