GPscroller
Lumber yards I deal with here, say they cannot order olive wood. Yet I walked into Home Sense and bought olive wood cutting boards made in Italy for $12.00, gotta love the wood. Slabbed them in half and cut these out of them. The pieces measure 4 1/2 x 7 x 3/8ths, total height 10 1/2 inches. The first pattern I found on Pinterest, unknown designer, and the second pattern is by Fish. DWSUDEKUM
Very nicely done. I also have found it made into cutting boards at the Home store here in the states. Gotta love the grain in olive wood. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW GPscroller

Woodmaster1
Those are fantastic! We have a fellow at the woodworking club that brings some home from Israel we he goes. He says only an arborist can cut olive trees in Israel. His friend saves him pieces and it is cheaper to pay the extra on luggage weight than buying some and ship it.
