Upgrade to my scroll saw

I saw this tray on a Gwinnett woodworking video and look like a good idea. It did make the stand more stable and I run the saw at full speed and it runs smooth. The tray also helps collect sawdust and the inevitable small pieces. I want thank Gwinnett woodworking club for the idea.

3/4" plywood with a hardboard rim.

Ah Yes the second picture put it in perspective.How many time I've searched endlessly to never find the missing piece.Good job!

Looks good, I use an old baking tray with the back end hammered flat, it slides in  and out as I only have bolts holding the back of the saw down

Now if you put a small box in the front of the saw sitting on the tray, it will catch most the sawdust and small pieces.  Then you can easily empty the box when you want.  I use empty cigar boxes on mine.
