Denny Knappen Posted August 16, 2017 Report Share Posted August 16, 2017 This pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in the book "Woodworkers Pattern Book". He called it the 'Delicate Doe", but I renamed it the "Delicate Fawn" because we have a visit about once a week from a fawn just like this one. I enlarged the pattern by 40% to fit an 11" x 14" frame. I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood and FD UR #1 blades. The backing is black mat board. I always use glass,mainly because I buy the frames,glass included.But I have some frames with different sizes and acrylic might be the way to go.Thanks for showing. Our framing Acrylite is about three times the cost of glass, but a lot lighter. I have left over pieces, so no cost. If I ship there is no worry about glass breaking.
