tuner
I wonder if it was just me or are they having a quality control problem. In The last 3 month's I ordered # 3 blades the first doz. I could not make 7 of them cut on the line no matter what did , total loss. Last week I bought another doz. .. snapped 3 with in minutes, tried flexing one, no flex it snapped, 5 out of 12 snapped the other 7 were OK except 2 will not stay on the line . The #4 & # 5 are fine, the 2/0 feel and cut like there dull Just my bad luck or what Edited August 22, 2017 by tuner SCROLLSAW703
Iguanadon
I hate to hear that, I'm a big fan of Olson blades. I haven't ordered any though within the past 2 or 3 months. Which style are you using? I use Mach Speed. SCROLLSAW703

SCROLLSAW703
i think were i you, tuner, I would be on the horn to where ever ya bought your blades from and discuss the issue with them. They will have record of your recent order(s) & explain to them it's the most recent order you've had the issues with. They need to know there are problems, too, & may work out the issue with you. kmmcrafts
Over the years of scroll sawing and being on message boards / forums ... I've seen this and it was a bad batch of blades.. while I haven't heard of this with Olsen blades... but I have with FD blades.. I'm sure it happens to them all at one point or another.. maybe more than we know.. but maybe they get stopped at quality control.. and theses just slipped past.. hawkeye10
This is just my opinion but if I were you I would try some Pegas MG blades #3 and #5. I have tried a lot of blades and the Pegas blades are the best IMO. Just try a few to began with.
