Iguanadon Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 I had created a couple of videos to share here and on a Facebook group page I'm part of and I knew I was getting hundreds of views, but suddenly I had people commenting, emailing and folks subscribing to my YouTube page... now I know where some of the interest came from... Steve Good featured me on his site. I had no idea. http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/ Scroll down a little bit, right after his videos of the midwest scroll show. Now I feel compelled to make some more videos. LOL jbrowning, Scrappile, NC Scroller and 3 others 6 Quote

meflick Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 sorry you didn't know - I would have alerted you when I saw it but I had assumed that Steve would have reached out to you to ask your ok before sharing. Guess not. Guess Steve's comment about needing one of your setup has added to your list for this weekend's show! LOL Quote
WayneMahler Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 Great to get that kind of exposure. I know I enjoyed watching them. Very well done. Quote

Woodmaster1 Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 It won't be long and the free stuff will start rolling in. They're good videos you deserve the accolades you are getting. I enjoyed them and can't wait for more. Quote
JOE_M Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 Congrats! You're making the big time now. Just don't let it go to your head - remember your roots and don't forget that the paparazzi is everywhere. The last thing you want is for Mrs. Iggy to be watching TMZ and see a video of you and a bunch of young nubile scrollsaw groupies snorting lines of sawdust at the VIP table in the back of Woodcraft. Fab4 Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 Hi Iggy: Everywhere I go now, I see Iggy this, Iggy that, and your great work. Not sure if I'm the only one, but when I look at your work/videos I'm puzzled!!! Anyone else get that feeling? Stay safe and keep it fun Fab4 P.S. Iguanadon Posted August 24, 2017 Author Report Posted August 24, 2017 OK, now I'm beyond honored... I emailed Steve yesterday thanking him for sharing my videos and since he'd mentioned wondering what my booth setup looked like, I included some pictures... Well he wrote an amazing little article on his site this morning... and amazingly he was right about everything he guessed and assumed... I do take blades with me to show people, I do have a stockpile of pre-wrapped duplicates behind the tables, etc, etc. I'll be making a video Saturday morning as I setup for my weekend event. http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/ jbrowning 1 Quote
trackman Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 And we all here can say "we remember when you was just a common man". All kidding aside very happy you are doing so good. Very nice write up Steve gave you. meflick and Jim McDonald 1 1 Quote
