rdatelle Posted September 14, 2017 Report Posted September 14, 2017 This is one of Steve Goods pattern I just finished today. Made out of 3/4 Oak and measures 10 x 7. Took a few hours to do because of the thickness of the Oak. I used a #5 blade on this with no problem. Not sure how much to charge for them. I was thinking about $60.00. Not sure if that's to much or not enough. leshko, frankorona, lawson56 and 2 others 4 1 Quote
don in brooklin on Posted September 14, 2017 Report Posted September 14, 2017 That is well cut. Like the Oak. With the Yankees name on it won't get much here in Canada. (I am in Blue Jay's country LOL) It is on my bucket list to do this. I am not going to put on a team name but add a row of shaker pegs for hanging of ribbons. The kids all get ribbons with team sports. I currently do my own design and add the kids name. (Hockey, soccer, softball) I may do the same with Steve's pattern. Steve has a football and a hockey sign. I don't normally sell but I got $50 for my ribbon holders. FYI here is a sample lawson56 and leshko 2 Quote
rdatelle Posted September 14, 2017 Author Report Posted September 14, 2017 Thanks Don. I think $60.00 isn't to bad then. Steve has all the Major League teams so I can do what ever team any one wants. Quote
Dave Monk Posted September 14, 2017 Report Posted September 14, 2017 That sure came out good. I would love to be able to get $60 for a project like that. Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted September 14, 2017 Report Posted September 14, 2017 Very nicely done Ralph. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW Quote
rdatelle Posted September 14, 2017 Author Report Posted September 14, 2017 Dave, do you think the price is to high. Quote

Ralph, Totally depends on your market and what you are willing to make another one for. I have been told that I price my stuff too cheap. In my market I would price that $30. If you can get $60 for it I think that is great. The puzzles that Iggy gets $25 for I only get $15. Quote
rdatelle Posted September 15, 2017 Author Report Posted September 15, 2017 Thanks Dave. I might go as low as. $50. To much work goes into it to sell it much cheaper. Dave Monk 1 Quote
edward Posted September 15, 2017 Report Posted September 15, 2017 $60 seems a little high, I usually sell my items for $25, I just want to make them and sell them, maybe in your area it might seem right, but here people will just walk away. It might be worth it to you, just my opinion. edward Quote
wombatie Posted September 15, 2017 Report Posted September 15, 2017 Looks great Ralph, well done. Marg Quote

lawson56 Posted September 15, 2017 Report Posted September 15, 2017 Ralph.it looks Awesome.I got mine yesterday.I guess I will do The Braves. Quote
rdatelle Posted September 15, 2017 Author Report Posted September 15, 2017 Edward, I think I can get $50..00 for them. I think $25.00 for me is not worth making unless I use a cheaper wood but I like the way the Oak looks. Quote
edward Posted September 15, 2017 Report Posted September 15, 2017 I always use Oak, if you can get $50 more power to you., I will be making one of those soon. edward Quote
Denny Knappen Posted September 15, 2017 Report Posted September 15, 2017 Very nice cutting. As for price, it is what the market will bear. Here in Dayton, prices for art and craft items are a lot less than say Chattanooga. Quote
