Dan Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 I made these for my 2-year old granddaughter. I plan to add more as she masters the shapes. These are scrap poplar from puzzles and I added a magnet to the backs to stick on the refrigerator. bobscroll, lawson56, MTCowpoke22 and 6 others 9 Quote
Iguanadon Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) Nice. It was my grand-daughter that got me started scrolling (the kids dinosaurs). Funny story, Mrs. Iggy and I took the little one to lunch one day and we're entertaining her while we wait for our food to be delivered. She was 3 at the time... Grandma is drawing shapes on a piece of paper and asking her what they are... Circle! Square! Diamond! Triangle! Grandma decided then to be a smartass and drew a shape... Wren yells out OCTAGON!!!! She was right... It totally blew us away. Edited September 17, 2017 by Iguanadon bobscroll 1 Quote

wombatie Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 I remember having a similar sort of thing on my fridge when the girls were little but the star kept disappearing because they loved drawing around it. Great work and colors Dan. Marg Quote

stevan Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 My daughter is 41 and my grandkids are 15 and 12 respectively, so we don't get many grandkid items to put on the refrigerator anymore. However, when I scrolled my very first lop-sided star, my wife put a magnet on it and put in on the fridge door! Quote
rdatelle Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 Nice idea Dan. What are you using for paint. Quote
