I may regret this... but...

I've had a couple of people ask questions about my setup at events and how I do certain things.  I've also had someone suggest I write a "guide"... so... two days ago I started typing.  Attached is what I have so far.  My wife hasn't even proofread it yet to correct all of my horrible grammatical errors, so keep that in mind and suffer through my massacre of the english language.  :-)

I'd appreciate your thoughts and feedback and especially any suggestions.  Or, you can tell me it's the worst thing you've ever read and figure nobody would be interested.  I can handle it.

It's still a work in progress.

I hope that I properly explain the reason and the content in my introduction. This isn't about scrolling, it's about deciding if you want to start selling whatever product it is that you make.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Iggy

Well Iggy, I have no idea how much farther you plan to go with this "how to" guide but from what I just read, you have done a fantastic job so far. You might even consider putting it up for sale to new folks to the flea market/farmer's market venues. What not make a buck off of it if you can and help others at the same time? Just my opinion. Anyway, keep on writing. It's very interesting. And as a side thought, you might even consider doing some video'ing on one of your events.

Great job.  One suggestion is to make sure you bring plenty of change.  Most people stop at a cash machine and have $20 bills.  That is great if all your items cost $20 but if all of your items are in what I call even dollars ($5, $10, $20, $25,....) bring at least a $100 in $5's and $50 in $10's.  If you have items in $1's ($3, $6, $22,....) bring at least $25 in $1's.   I typically bring a $200 to start with.

Great little booklet have to agree with everything you said even though most is common sense there are a lot out there without any:lol: Well done Iggy keep rollin' on. :thumbs:Roly

You're exactly right Roly... I just added this statement near the beginning...

..."I hope this proves beneficial to you in some way.  Some items may seem obvious or common sense, but in the whirlwind of getting started, sometimes you forget or get sidetracked from the obvious as you focus on the many tasks ahead of you."
